DARDAR Health Study Results Released

It is so sweet today to report something so close to home. When Fred Pond and I were in Tanzania earlier this year to provide library support to librarians at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, scientists from the DARDAR Health Study were wrapping up their TB study. Yesterday in Paris at the World Lung Health conference, the lead in the study, Dr. Fordham von Reyn reported that a TB vaccine reduced the incidence of laboratory-confirmed TB in HIV-positive people by 37%.
