Opposite Ends of the Spectrum

Two separate reports from Africa show the wide gulf that exists in HIV/AIDS prevention. On the one hand, Sarah McGregor reports the progress, however slow, that Tanzania is making with its growing drug addiction problem and the spread of HIV/AIDS. In Nigeria on the other hand, IRIN reports that the government for Anambra State has outlawed advocating the use of condoms as well as contraceptive devices such as IUD's (intrauterine devices) for birth control.
